My photographic work is inserted in a realistic line of retraction of faces (portraits), moments and experiences of deep interior Portugal: mountain of Peneda-Gerês, Barroso, Montesinho… where life still follows the secular standards and the human being existence claims for the respect for the old habits and traditions. People cacrified by the difficulties of life in an environment of isolation.
